i don't know why my dreams all have a theme lately. i'm sure someone out there would look it up in a dream book and say exactly what it means, but i prefer to think it's just a happy coincidence... or a sign that i want a new pet. last night, in crazy dream world, we were trying to choose a bird and the scarlet macaw ended up choosing us somehow. he wouldn't leave us alone. we were in a familiar pet store, but the lights were partially off and the place was messy and the displays of pet supplies were empty, like it was closed. we had already bought a cage (maybe in a previous dream?) but we wanted toys for him so he wouldn't be bored. so i went over to where i knew the bird toys were, but there was only one or two crappy ones. i complained to the person working there but they seemed annoyed with us so we left with intentions to go to another pet store. we brought the macaw home in a little bag and when we got home, we opened the bag and he popped right out and we were scratching his head, and playing with him. then somehow i ended up on a ship... kind of like a luxury cruise ship.. for a wedding. and everyone had different rooms to get ready.. and it turned out to be my wedding. i went to my fiances room to write him a letter about something. i was laying on his bed writing this letter on very small paper when he came in and his friend was with him standing in the doorway. i was excited at first then he said "I want to get an appeal". apparently in dream language this means he wanted to break off the wedding. i got really upset and woke up. the end. it would be cool to have a scarlet macaw though...
We're considering getting a bird. We still have a lot of research to do. Lory's are awesome, but can be messy. Conures are a little less expensive and make good pets. lots to consider.
